IB Diploma Program (DP) Curriculum
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP) is a two-year educational journey for students aged 16 to 19. It is highly respected by universities around the world for its rigorous academic standards and its emphasis on developing well-rounded, internationally minded learners.
At our school, the DP curriculum is carefully designed to challenge students both academically and personally. It encourages them to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and develop a deep understanding across a broad range of subjects.
Curriculum Structure
Students in the DP take six subjects, one from each of the following groups:
Three of these subjects are taken at Higher Level (HL) for a deeper study, and three at Standard Level (SL).
In addition to their subjects, all DP students complete the Core, which is at the heart of the programme:
A Holistic Approach
The IB DP goes beyond academic excellence. It nurtures students to become confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners who are ready to contribute to the world around them. Students are supported to build critical thinking skills, global awareness, research abilities, and personal resilience — skills that are valuable for both university and life beyond.
Our dedicated team of IB teachers and coordinators are committed to guiding each student on their unique IB journey, helping them reach their full potential in a caring and inclusive environment.
